American Association of Children’s Residential Centers

The American Association of Children’s Residential Centers (AACRC) is a national, nonprofit membership association for organizations that provide therapeutic treatment in residential settings.

AACRC operated under a partnership agreement with the Alliance for Children and Families.

AACRC combines residential treatment professionals to advance the frontiers of knowledge related to the spectrum of therapeutic environment for young people with behavioral health disorders. Its more than 120 member organizations work closely with families and communities to provide complete care for children who need it most.

AACRC efforts guided by the conviction that children and young people and their families are entitled to treatment that offers maximum opportunity for growth and change.
