This workshop will guide participants through the process of identifying, managing, and analyzing existing data sources to demonstrate short-term effects and long-term impact of programs and initiatives. Additionally, participants will be introduced to innovative tools and measures that can be integrated easily into existing information systems in order to enhance capacity to build credible and reliable evaluations. By incorporating “serious play” into relearning concepts for evaluation and research, the presenter will offer both quantitative and qualitative data from existing Alliance evaluation projects. Participants will have the opportunity to practice using real data from current projects and to share their experiences with evaluation practices, which will receive input from the presenter and other participants.
