The most successful organizations in multi-institutional arrangements are usually the ones that have put their own structural house in order. This workshop will examine various restructuring techniques such as the legal separation of programs into separate entities and the formation of parent holding companies. Sub-topics include what corporate organization and reorganization are, purposes of corporate reorganization, typical good and bad reasons to reorganize, phases of development and implementation, and prerequisites for a successful reorganization.
